How does an online credit card payment work?

In order to complete a payment using a credit card, please enter your credit card number, expiration date and CVC number. This data is transferred to your credit card company to verify.

The credit card company authorizes the transaction and sends the confirmed authorization information back to Paylogic in order to complete the payment.

This transfer of data is completely secured.

I got an “error” message when paying for my ticket(s)/order. What can I do?

There are a number of reasons why a payment attempt might not be successful. We would advise you to check the following examples:

Solution 1: You may try double checking the numbers and name that you provide during the payment (These must match perfectly to the ones on the card!).

Examples:

1 Your name:    John Doe

Your name on the credit card: JOHN DOE

Name you should enter in the credit card payment: JOHN DOE

2 Your name:    John Dóe

Your name on the credit card: JOHN DOE

Name you should enter in the credit card payment: JOHN DOE

3 Your name:    John Doe Moes

Your name on the credit card: MR JOHN DOE

Name you should enter in the credit card payment: MR JOHN DOE

Solution 2: You may try contacting your bank in order to pre-authorize your card to perform international payments and re-check whether your credit has not been exceeded.Otherwise, you may also try using a different payment method.

Solution 3: You may use a different payment method directly. Otherwise, you may retry after 48 hours in order for the flag to expire. You can also try to place your order using a different browser and/or from a different computer and/or IP-address.

Notice! When your order is not completed with a payment (as is the case when an error message), it is automatically cancelled.

I selected to pay with a Bank Transfer, when will I get my tickets?

Some events and festivals offer the possibility to pay for your tickets with a bank transfer instead of a credit card. Several things must be kept in mind:

  • When selecting the option to pay with Bank Transfer, an e-mail with the necessary information for the transfer will be sent to you.
  • From that point, there is an approximate window of 10 working days for the payment to be completed (this means received by the bank, transferred to and then reflected in our account). If there is no completion within this timeframe the order expires and it is automatically cancelled.
  • Paying the required amount in the bank does NOT immediately complete your order! There is an approximate waiting period of 5 days until the payment is reflected in our own account. As soon as this happens, an e-mail is sent to you with the link to download your tickets (or to personalize them [see What is ticket personalization (“additional information is required for your order”)?], depending on the event).

If you have encountered issues performing your payment with a Bank Transfer, you can always CONTACT US.

What is the CVC?

"CVC" stands for Card Validation Code.

The CVC is a unique three-digit number that is linked to your credit card number. It can be found on the back of your credit card as shown here:

When placing and ticket order you are requested to intriduce the CVC as well as other data for you card (Credit Card Number, Cardholder's Name and Expiration Date).

Notice! Please make sure that the introduced numbers are correct. Otherwise your payment won't be successful and you will have to place a new order for the ticket(s) and ticket availability will not be guaranteed.
