You may bring your walker or wheelchair to the event. It will be stored in a safe place during the concert. The event staff will help you with this.

Tip: Tie a coloured ribbon to your rollator or wheelchair so you can easily find it back after the concert.

Additionally, the event also has elevated wheelchair spaces that can be reserved.

For the concert series of André Rieu New Year’s concert in Amsterdam (Netherlands), we offer travel packages. These consist of hotel packages. It is possible to book these arrangements on the official website of André Rieu.

This package offers the possibility to combine your concert visit with a stay in one of the hotels located in and near Amsterdam. André Rieu Travel guarantees that the seats are always next to each other.

André Rieu’s New Year’s Concert is performed at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam (The Netherlands). The address of the location is De Passage 100, 1101 AX Amsterdam.

Coming to the event by car

You can park your car at one of the public parking places nearby the Ziggo Dome.

Parking tickets can be bought against the event rate of €20 at the parking metres located at P2, P3, P4, P5 and P6, starting from four hours before the concert begins. At the parking metres of P1 and P Dome you are able to buy parking tickets against the event rate of €30, starting from four hours before the concert starts and two hours after the concert has ended. In order to do this, you have to press the separate event button on the parking metre. Only if you press this button you will be charged the event rate.

It is possible to buy parking tickets for P2, P4, P5, P6, P10 and P18 at Ziggo Dome’s service desks on the ground floor for €21. They do not sell parking tickets for P1, P3 and P Dome.

Coming to the event by public transport

There are two train stations near the Ziggo Dome: Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA and Duivendrecht. Both stations are within walking distance. Both intercity and sprinters with connections from Schiphol, Utrecht Central, Ede-Wageningen, Arnhem, Nijmegen, Eindhoven, Gouda, and Rotterdam stop at these stations. 

From Schiphol, Almere, and Amersfoort take the train to station Duivendrecht. From Amsterdam Central and Utrecht Central take the train to Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA.

The Ziggo Dome can also be reached by urban and intercity buses and the local metro, and between Haarlem and Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA by R-net. 

Coming to the event by taxi

Due to the amount of people visiting the city during that time, we recommend booking a taxi in advance. There are several taxi stand locations near the Ziggo Dome:

No, there is no reduced price for children at the André Rieu’s New Year’s Concert. Children up to 2 years old have free admission if they sit on the lap of one of the parents or caregivers. Children 2 years and older must have a valid ticket. We recommend that you bring a passport with you to avoid any confusion.
