Which mobility aids are not allowed?
For safety reasons, scootmobiles, folding chairs or stools are not allowed at the festival site. In every corner of the festival, you can find plenty of places to sit or rest and relax.
Do you have doubts about the accessibility in your circumstances? Please let the organization know by mailing them at toegankelijkheid@bestkeptsecret.nl, so they can give you advice.
Toilets for Visitors with a Disability
There’s a dedicated accessible toilet next to the First Aid post on the festival site. On the festival campsite, you'll find accessible toilets in every permanent restroom building.
Following feedback from visitors, we’ve added more accessible toilets across the festival grounds to ensure everyone can enjoy Best Kept Secret comfortably and safely.
Visibility Platforms
Our two largest stages have visibility platforms, you and a plus one companion can join them. If the platform gets crowded, our staff may kindly ask companions to step aside to ensure everyone has a good view.
Assistance Dogs
It is (legally) allowed to take your assistance dog to the festivalgrounds, but we want to stress that the festival is not an animal-friendly environment because of the crowds, amplified music and light effects. This accords with the advice of KNGF Geleidehonden: ‘We are not in favour of taking assistance dogs to festivals, concerts and other places with crowds and loud noises. The dog can’t do its job and loses its guiding function.’
Is there someone on-site who can assist me?
Yes! We’re continuing our Accessibility Ally pilot. This friendly helper is available throughout the weekend for short rides, questions, or support when needed. Since they assist multiple visitors, there might be a short wait at times — but feel free to reach out whenever you need. Closer to the festival, you’ll receive more details after signing up via toegankelijkheid@bestkeptsecret.nl
