When you buy multiple tickets for an event, you will most likely be asked to personalise tickets for other people at one of two possible moments.
- If the personalisation period is active at the time you buy your tickets, you will immediately be prompted to personalise your tickets.
- If the personalisation period starts at a later time, you will receive an e-mail to notify you. The e-mail will contain a link that takes you to your order environment, where you can personalise the tickets.
A lot of events work with a ‘send to friend’ system, where you can do the following to let friends and family claim their own tickets:
- You send an invitation to your friend when you are prompted to personalise the tickets.
- Your friend receives an email to claim their ticket(s)
- Your friend sees all available tickets to claim
- Your friend can personalise the selected ticket(s) and click 'Confirm'
- After successful claiming:
They receive a confirmation email with the claimed tickets and can download or view them either immediately or when tickets are released.
Note: Any unclaimed tickets are automatically returned to you as the original purchaser.
If events don’t have a ‘send to friend’ system, you will be asked to provide the other ticketholders’ information yourself. In this case, your friends will not receive an e-mail with their tickets. You, as the main buyer, will have access to all tickets and can distribute them as necessary either immediately or when tickets are released.]
